Who says work can’t be fun? We tested the Insta360 Go2 camera on Palm Beach Island & the Palm Beach Island Lake Trail to see what the fuss was all about. If you’re unfamiliar with Insta360, they’re a competitor of GoPro. If you want my honest opinion (we are not paid for this), Insta360 is far better in terms of technology, quality, and innovation. As both GoPro and Insta360 are leaders in the 360 camera market, Insta360 is a far superior products. (We also have the Insta360 R-One 360 camera (which is totally awesome).

This specific camera is an action camera that is not a 360 camera, but is an action camera similar to what you would expect from a GoPro. The difference is that this camera is the size of your thumb. Unbelievable, right?

So, in a nutshell, you can go out and take unbelievably cool footage without lugging around a 5-foot selfie stick, a 6 pound DSLR, or have to deal with a million different mounts. The Insta360 Go2 is so small, that you can barely even see it.

The only downsides we really saw from this camera are what you would expect from the off-setting of the camera’s miniature size.  The battery life is about 30 minutes, and the quality of the video is not what you’d get from a bulky DSLR or a high-end video camera you’d shoot real-life commercials with. This camera was not built for those things. This camera is great for concealing the fact that you’re recording, and to do it in a way that’s quick and easy. The quality is great, but you’re sacrificing quality for not having to lug around a full videography setup with you on your adventures.

For a social media guru, business, or influencer, this camera is a must-have. The quality of the footage is is unmatched for a camera that people can barely even see.
